PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Home Shield, the nation’s largest provider of home warranties and a business unit of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SERV), today announced the opening of a new customer care center at 20410 N. 19th Avenue, in Phoenix.
The 25,000-square-foot facility will employ a total of 250 customer service representatives handling inbound customer calls and managing in-home repairs of home warranty covered items through American Home Shield’s network of professional service contractors. The new facility is on the same floor as the recently acquired OneGuard Home Warranties, which operates a 100-person call center from this location.

Including the new Phoenix location, American Home Shield now operates five call centers across the nation, serving nearly 2 million customers from all four of its brands: American Home Shield, HSA Home Warranty, Landmark Home Warranty and OneGuard Home Warranty. Other locations include Memphis, Salt Lake City, LaGrange, Ga. and Carroll, Iowa.

The new customer care center, which has been quietly ramping up, already employs 80 individuals, and company officials expect a total of approximately 200 employees to be onsite within the next two months. By year end, the center is expected to employ up to 250 individuals full-time.
The new facility is located in Deer Valley Park, where OneGuard Home Warranties already employs more than 200 individuals in 26,000 square feet of space. Deer Valley Park is conveniently located, offers a dining facility and nearby restaurants, fitness center, collaboration space, 24.7 on-site security, and has been recognized for its art center, great family neighborhoods, outdoor parks and schools. Terminix, another ServiceMaster company, currently employs more than 300 employees at another customer service center in the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale.
