BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Making Idaho child support payments with a smart phone or tablet at www.accessidaho.org/hw/childsupport just got easier. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare's online child support payment service is now optimized for mobile devices.
Since about 58 percent of Idaho citizens use mobile devices as their primary or only access to the Internet, the child support payment service incorporates the latest in responsive design to maintain mobile compatibility. Additionally, the revamped app meets international online accessibility requirements and is screen-reader compatible.
Citizens can log in securely with a username and password to complete payments with a credit or debit card. They can also view their case summary and online payment history.
Health & Welfare partnered with Boise-based Access Idaho to create the improvements. The partnership operates under a self-funded model in which no tax dollars or state funds were used.
