SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aviatrix Systems, a pioneer in hybrid cloud networking, today announced that IT and Data Management research firm Enterprise Management Associates (EMA™) released a compelling new white paper discussing the benefits enterprises can expect with Aviatrix solutions. Leveraging in-depth interviews with Aviatrix customers, the research titled “The Business Benefits of Aviatrix Hybrid Cloud Networking” calculated that, on average, enterprises save more than $1 million on new network-related capital expenses and first-year operational expenditures, and increase their agility through a 98 percent reduction in time spent on cloud network provisioning with Aviatrix solutions.
“It’s no secret that enterprises face complex networking challenges, most often the extreme complexity of provisioning and managing cloud network interconnections,” said Shamus McGillicuddy, senior analyst, Network Management, EMA. “Based on our extensive conversations with Aviatrix customers, we believe that enterprises who are having difficulties with a networking solution for hybrid cloud interconnections, multi-cloud connectivity, or remote cloud access should consider Aviatrix for their hybrid cloud networking needs.”
New Research Highlights
Aviatrix helps its customers accelerate their hybrid cloud strategies by abstracting, automating and simplifying networking across data centers and different cloud providers. During its interviews with Aviatrix financial services, hospitality, social gaming, and staffing services and consulting customers, EMA uncovered several unique benefits to deploying Aviatrix solutions, including faster cloud network provisioning, cost avoidance, and accelerated application development and deployment cycles:
- Faster Provisioning of Cloud Networks: Every customer interviewed had previously relied on a complex manual process for provisioning VPN connections in the cloud. With Aviatrix, enterprises can centralize and streamline the process of setting up new hybrid cloud networks. Average reduction in provisioning time was 98 percent, with one staffing services customer reducing provisioning time from 10 days to 15 minutes.
- Cost Avoidance: On average, Aviatrix customers interviewed saved $1.1 million on new network-related capital expenses and first-year operational expenditures.
“Aviatrix has the disruptive vision to make hybrid cloud networking as simple, dynamic and elastic as compute and storage,” said Rajan Panchanathan, vice president of Marketing and Product Strategy of Aviatrix. “This EMA paper is a testament to how customers are successfully using Aviatrix solutions to transform IT and automate secure networking and interoperability across enterprise datacenters and different public clouds.”
The research results continue Aviatrix’s consistent innovation, growth and momentum. In January, the company announced an oversubscribed Series B funding round of $15 million, bringing total funding to $25 million, and the Aviatrix Hybrid Cloud Solution has been the most popular product in the AWS Marketplace for the past several months running.
