DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TCI and its management company, Pillar Income Asset Management recently held a Holiday Toy Drive event for Family Gateway of Dallas, Texas.
Pillar donated over 100 presents to Family Gateway, Inc. in response to the organization’s Holiday Closet program. The Holiday Closet supports over 200 families including over 500 children. Collected items included toys, games, books, and sports equipment. “My car was completely packed with toys,” said Chris Childress, HR Director and Manager of Pillar’s non-profit initiative. “Our employees came through again this year. Delivering our collected items to Family Gateway is one of my favorite things to do.”
Kathy Kidwell, Family Gateway’s Director of Volunteers, accepted Pillar’s donation: “All of our families who needed support enjoyed a bright holiday season thanks to our holiday store and adopt-a-family donors. Each family received new toys and gift cards to purchase whatever was needed for the holidays. But the best gift was renewed hope for our children and families.”
