By Light to Provide Communication Support to Hurricane Relief Efforts in Haiti

By Light and Intelsat General working to bring satellite communications to first responders

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--By Light Professional IT Services, Inc. has been awarded a three-month contract with the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), focused on bringing satellite communications to first-responders in Haiti’s hurricane relief efforts. DLA provides the U.S. military and other federal agencies with a full spectrum of logistics, acquisition, and technical services.

By Light will be coupling their full-range engineering expertise with Intelsat General’s Ku-band capacity on the Galaxy 18 satellite. Intelsat General provides secure and seamless broadband connectivity, video communications, and mobility services for mission-critical operations around the globe.
