NIDA Selects CALIBRE to Continue Support for Informatics Program Under New Contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE) has been awarded a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Division of Therapeutics and Medical Consequences (DTMC) contract to provide clinical informatics and document management support. CALIBRE will continue work to build and maintain data management and document management solutions to help NIDA DTMC compile, analyze, and disseminate information about its research findings on potential treatments for substance use disorders. CALIBRE has provided NIDA with many years of support managing digital objects, ranging from laboratory results, genomic and phenotype data, clinical data, and published scientific literature. According to CALIBRE Health & Information Management (HIM) Division Vice President Dorisa Harris, “Hundreds of researchers and scientists at NIDA, universities, and clinical study sites rely on the NIDA Informatics Program to further their pursuit of knowledge and collaboration of the causes and treatment of substance abuse and addiction. Our ongoing data management and document management work ensures that researchers have access to important scientific information to support their research.” The contract continues the work that CALIBRE has performed since its acquisition of the Health & Life Sciences and the Defense & Public Sector business of Information Management Consultants, Inc. (IMC).
