KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At the NAPT Summit, Blue Bird announced that Allison 2000 Pupil Transport Series™ (PTS) transmissions will feature an extended warranty of 7 years, unlimited miles - a substantial upgrade from the previous base warranty of 5 years, unlimited miles.

Along with this announcement, Blue Bird showcased many products and partnerships at their booth, including the NAPT debut of the all-new Vision CNG bus, a Vision diesel bus equipped with a Cummins V5.0 engine, a Micro Bird G5 propane-powered bus, and a Micro Bird T-Series bus. Other displays in the booth included the new Eaton Procision transmission offering, Cummins V5.0 engine, Hendrickson suspensions, Ford/ROUSH CleanTech powertrains, Bendix Electronic Stability Control and Blue Bird parts and service.
