CounterTack Partnership with Trustwave Delivers Robust Managed Endpoint Detection and Response Capabilities Worldwide

Alliance helps provide early detection, mitigation and correlation capabilities for global Trustwave customers to contain advanced threats before they fully compromise businesses

WALTHAM, Mass.--()--CounterTack today announced that CounterTack’s endpoint detection and response (EDR) security technologies are now available worldwide as a new managed EDR security service from Trustwave, a leading cybersecurity and managed security services provider. Trustwave’s parent company Singtel also has a partnership agreement to distribute CounterTack EDR technology in the Asia Pacific region.

Through the alliance, CounterTack’s best-in-class endpoint detection technologies will be offered to help better identify behaviors and footprints commonly associated with sophisticated and never-before-seen attacks, with the goal being to immediately contain and rapidly respond to the incident. Trustwave provides customers with a robust set of endpoint security capabilities, removing the need to manage an EDR platform on site or to retain and train staff to run and configure those systems.

Trustwave Chief Executive Officer and President Robert J. McCullen said, “With today’s fast moving and evolving advanced threats, the importance of early detection is more critical than ever before. CounterTack’s endpoint technologies coupled with Trustwave’s managed security services and incident response experts will help identify, contain and resolve the complete scope of potential attacks at the endpoint and beyond.”

CounterTack Chief Executive Officer Neal Creighton, said, “Partnering with Trustwave brings a broader, more current service with real-time, global threat context to customers. As endpoint attacks are rapidly changing, this level of analysis is essential. Together with Trustwave, we can now deliver to customers rich endpoint data, added visibility and the effective management which results in minimizing damage, reduced remediation and the assurance that threats are fully contained.”

“The benefit to any organization leveraging third-party management of any or all aspects of cybersecurity is to enhance the level of detection, more quickly, and to eradicate threats through breadth of expertise,” said Doug Cahill, Sr. Analyst, ESG Global. “The fact that endpoint threats have become more dangerous precipitates the need for dynamic EDR services, which Trustwave is now delivering via CounterTack technology. Trustwave is well-positioned to apply real-time behavioral monitoring into their service offering to deliver enhanced EDR to a global customer base.”

CounterTack and Trustwave held an exclusive webinar covering the landscape of advanced endpoint threats, and best practices for integrating managed EDR as a security best practice for businesses of all types. The webinar is available on demand here.
