LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--River Road Asset Management, LLC (“River Road”) announced that William W. Yang, CFA, a well-regarded international equity investment manager, has joined the firm. Yang will serve as Portfolio Manager at River Road, where he will manage the firm’s new International Value Equity Strategy.

Yang brings nearly 15 years of investment experience to the firm. Prior to joining River Road, Yang served as Senior Portfolio Manager for Boston Private Wealth LLC, where he developed an attractive 11-year track record investing in non-U.S. companies. Yang has also served as Equity Research Analyst in the securities research division and Manager of the investment banking division at Shenyin & Wanguo Securities Co. Ltd.
Yang received his bachelor of science in engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, his master of science in economics from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, and his master’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 2004 (CFA Institute). Yang and his family will relocate to Louisville, Kentucky from their home in Plano, Texas.
