Logikcull’s ‘Sub Accounts’ Unlocks Versatile Power of Global Legal Intelligence Solution

SAN FRANCISCO--()--On the heels of news that it has raised $10 million from top-tier investors OpenView and Storm Ventures, Logikcull, the San Francisco-based technology company, has announced a new feature that empowers organizations to run multiple versions of its Legal Intelligence platform simultaneously to tackle a wide range of data challenges.

Known as “Sub Accounts,” the multi-tiered administrative feature allows separate groups or individuals within the same organization to run their own Logikcull platforms under the supervision of a “master account” administrator who has access to all accounts.

Sub Accounts shows off the multifaceted nature of Legal Intelligence, where different units across the enterprise can use Logikcull’s platform for different purposes. In some organizations, compliance professionals use Logikcull to conduct internal investigations, while it is also being used by the general counsel’s office for eDiscovery in litigation and the finance department to conduct tax audits.

Legal Intelligence can be applied to any use case that calls for processing, searching, reviewing or sharing data, such as responding to a subpoena or conducting due diligence for M&A. These processes are traditionally inefficient and extremely cost-prohibitive.

Sub Accounts represents the expansion of the Logikcull platform beyond eDiscovery, and a maturing of legal tech more generally, where user-friendly technology accessible by cloud can be deployed to address a wide range of potential use cases at a predictable cost.

“Sub Accounts speaks to the flexibility of the Logikcull platform as a solution to many of the data-intensive challenges legal and compliance professionals face,” Andy Wilson, Logikcull CEO, said.

Sub Accounts allows multiple offices, divisions, departments, or teams to customize Logikcull to their specific needs, while insulating their work from others in the organization -- or, conversely, sharing that work across departments, or even outside the organization if necessary. A single account owner can administer multiple accounts for offices across the globe while retaining simplicity in billing through a single parent account.

Whereas most legal search tools are generally only used by a single department for a specific use, Sub Accounts distributes the power of Legal Intelligence across the enterprise. It signals an end to the legacy software model where users are limited by the number of installed “licenses” an organization purchases. Instead, Logikcull leverages the power of cloud to give users across an organization access to a customizable instance of Logikcull that can be used any time, anywhere from any device.
