WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--John Muir Health and The Ultimate Sports Association (USA), which manages The Ultimate Fieldhouse, a 40,000 square foot youth sports facility in Walnut Creek, have launched a long-term partnership to promote health, wellness and fitness among Bay Area youth.
John Muir Health will be the official health care provider for the Ultimate Fieldhouse and the facility will be renamed as the “John Muir Health Ultimate Fieldhouse”. The partnership will focus on creating an environment within the facility that incorporates health and wellness-related programs and education into the day-to-day sports activities at the Ultimate Fieldhouse. In doing so, USA and John Muir Health will create a unique and healthy environment for children and their families in the community.

The partnership will see the Ultimate Fieldhouse drastically enhance the sports medicine services it provides, while also making it the site for a number of community oriented health and wellness events hosted by John Muir Health. Topics will range from healthy eating to injury prevention to staying fit year-round.

The Ultimate Fieldhouse is the culmination of the lifelong dream of its founders to provide a quality recreational environment in Walnut Creek, in the heart of the East Bay. The Facility hosts basketball tournaments, leagues, camps and clinics, instructional training and practice opportunities for thousands of boys and girls throughout the community. In addition, the Fieldhouse provides additional youth sport activities and opportunities including volleyball, and senior activities including badminton and pickleball.
