AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Goji® will be in attendance at the VRLA expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, Calif., Aug. 5-6. VRLA, www.virtualrealityla.com, is the world’s largest virtual reality (VR) expo, and Blue Goji is thrilled to be teaming up with HTC Vive to demonstrate Goji Play’s upcoming “Active VR” enhancements at the Vive pavilion.
In addition, Blue Goji will be exhibiting at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, Aug. 18-21. GamesCom, www.gamescom-cologne.com, is one of the largest expos in Europe for gaming, and Blue Goji will be showcasing its new Active Gaming/Active VR offerings on popular VR and non-VR platforms, supporting both Blue Goji and many third-party VR games.
Blue Goji has been enhancing Goji Play®, the company’s core, patent-pending game platform, and developing new VR games for leading VR platforms such as HTC’s Vive to deliver a unique, immersive Active VR experience. The Active VR enhancements and new VR games will be released in the next Goji Play system upgrade, scheduled for November 2016.
“Goji Play will transform any suitable cardio machine, like ellipticals and stationary bikes, into an immersive ‘Game Station’ for playing VR games. More importantly, infusing full-body cardio motion into VR game plays, Goji Play has demonstrated promising results eliminating or significantly reducing the common problem of VR-induced motion sickness,” commented Coleman Fung, Blue Goji co-founder and CEO. Fung continued, “We are very excited about Goji Play’s new capability to expand VR game play beyond the sedentary or limited-movement model. And the possibility of resurrecting millions of underutilized or unused cardio equipment at home!”
