LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The most expensive hotel in Europe is located in Greece, according to a survey conducted by Luxury-Hotels.com
In determining the rankings, the survey compared luxury hotels based on their cheapest available rate for a double room during the months of July and August 2016. The survey excluded properties with fewer than 15 rooms.
The Amanzo'e, located in Southern Greece's Peloponnese region, leads the rankings with a minimum rate of Euro 1779 over the summer. Second most expensive is the Le Dune hotel in the South of Sardinia (Euro 1645). Meanwhile, the Cap Estal on the beautiful French Riviera completes the Top 3 podium at a rate of Euro 1596 for its least expensive room.
Greece's second most expensive hotel is located on the island of Santorini. At a minimum rate of Euro 1400, the Canaves Oia Suites rank fifth most expensive overall. All remaining hotels in the Top 10 are based in Italy.
The following table shows the 10 most expensive hotels in Europe this summer. The prices listed indicate the cheapest available rate for a double room during the period spanning July 1 to August 31, 2016.
