Former Deputy Assistant Director and Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mr. Brian McCauley Joins Brainwave Science’s Advisory Board

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--()--Brainwave Science, the developer of ground-breaking Brain Fingerprinting technology, is proud to announce Former Deputy Assistant Director and Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mr. Brian McCauley as the newest member of the company's advisory board.

Mr. McCauley recently retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after serving more than three decades in service to the United States Government. As a Deputy Assistant Director for all International Operations he was responsible for the operations in over 100 countries and managed the 84 FBI's Legal Attaché offices. Deputy Assistant Director McCauley fostered partnerships with the international law enforcement community, the U.S. private sector, the United States Intelligence Community. ““Mr. McCauley’s numerous innovative inter-agency and international initiatives to include the hostage working cell, the anti- corruption task force and the Joint Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) task force assigned to investigate and target IED cells leading to numerous U.S. and International Coalition lives being saved. As a direct result of his impact in Afghanistan, FBI Director Robert Mueller selected Mr. McCauley to serve as the Associate Deputy Director of the National Clandestine Service (NCS) for Intelligence Community Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Operations. Deputy Assistant Director McCauley was responsible for the executive level management and oversight of HUMINT policies and programs, as well as coordination and de-confliction of United States HUMINT operations worldwide. As a direct result of his collaborative efforts, Mr. McCauley received the Donovan Award, the highest recognition given by the National Clandestine Service. Following this assignment in October 2012, Mr. McCauley was named Deputy Assistant Director of the International Operations Division where he served until his retirement. and the Department of Defense. For his decades of service to the United States and International Law Enforcement communities, Deputy Assistant Director McCauley is the recipient of numerous awards and decorations to include the prestigious FBI Director’s Award, Defense Intelligence Agency’s Director’s Award and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for fostering exceptional operational collaboration and integration of both members of the Department of Defense and the United States Special Operations Command.
