LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patriot Environmental Services and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Patriot WasteWater (collectively, “Patriot”), are pleased to announce updates pertaining to its wastewater treatment facility in Orange, CA as well as the acquisition of certain assets from Green Compass Environmental Solutions and Santa Clara Waste Water (collectively, “Green Compass”), first announced on December 4, 2015.
Patriot has closed its acquisition of Green Compass’s Anaheim, CA wastewater facility, as well as substantially all of Green Compass's other non-facilities based assets. Patriot has been granted a new Part D centralized waste treatment (CWT) facility permit for the Anaheim location, and it will operate as an additional facility of Patriot WasteWater. The other non-facilities based assets will become part of Patriot's environmental services business. The sale of Green Compass’s Kern County (Belridge) and Ventura County (Santa Paula) facilities remain subject to certain regulatory approvals.
Patriot WasteWater has also been granted an expanded Part D CWT permit by the Orange County Sanitation District for its existing facility in Orange, CA. With this new permit, Patriot can treat a significantly broader spectrum of wastewater streams at this facility, as well as provide solidification of solids under a separate permit.
