TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--COMPUTEX TAIPEI, the leading global ICT show with a complete supply chain, today announced last call (submission deadline is March 31) for companies interested in submitting their products for the ninth annual d&i (design and innovation) awards. Technology companies throughout the world are invited to submit their products for review, and award submission is not limited to COMPUTEX exhibitors or attendees.
Throughout its history, the d&i awards have been an index of ICT excellence. Major Taiwanese, European, North American, and Asian tech companies have participated in the awards. COMPUTEX organizer TAITRA has collaborated with Germany’s International Forum Design (iF) to present the COMPUTEX d&i awards each year.
The d&i awards will be presented at the COMPUTEX opening ceremony to increase exposure for the winning companies, particularly the startups, to help them find investors and establish partnerships. Winning products will be showcased at the COMPUTEX d&i awards display at COMPUTEX and at other major global ICT shows, including IFA, CES, MWC, Indocomtech, and COM-IT to create business opportunities in local markets.
The 2016 d&i awards feature two new categories:
- Wearable Technology + Smart Applications/Products
- Smart Home + Security
The new categories reflect industry trends and COMPUTEX 2016’s positioning, “Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems.”
