SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TNT Australia, one of the world’s largest express delivery companies, and Bruce Shaw, a multinational construction consultancy firm, today announced that they recently collaborated on the creation of a new eastern-seaboard network of state-of-the-art super hubs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. All of the facilities are now open and fully operational and are utilizing advanced parcel sortation technology enabling increased capability to service the evolving needs of TNT’s growing customer base.
TNT Australia has always aimed to provide the best, most efficient and cost-effective domestic and international delivery service. The creation of these super hubs coincides with TNT's focus on meeting the needs of small to medium businesses, brought about by the continuing rise in e-commerce and shift to lighter weight, higher volume consignments.
“We engaged Bruce Shaw in Australia to ensure that we were deriving value from the builders and developers particularly when there were variations to the costs. We found them to be very professional, timely in their responses, extremely accurate in their assessments and good advisors throughout all three of the super hub projects,” commented Curtis Berry, Director Networks and Infrastructure, TNT Australia. “It is clear to us that Bruce Shaw is an industry leader in cost consultancy and management and is well-respected by companies who engage their services. They greatly assisted TNT Australia in deriving the maximum value from the projects we worked on and we look forward to working with them again in the future,” he concluded.
“TNT is one of the most respected delivery companies in the world embracing all of the latest technological advances to enable them to provide a world-class service to their customers. On each of the three super hubs in Australia we were focused on ensuring that our client achieved the maximum value that they could, on time and with specification. Our global strategy is to develop deep domain knowledge and industry expertise in all of the sectors we work in and to transfer that experience to our clients in a highly professional and reliable manner. We were able to achieve this with TNT and hope to emulate that for them going forward,” said John Carleton, Director Australia and New Zealand, Bruce Shaw.
