MailChimp Announces General Counsel Scott Culpepper

ATLANTA--()--Today MailChimp, the world’s leading email marketing platform, announced that Scott Culpepper has joined the company in a newly created position as General Counsel and member of the executive team, reporting to CEO Ben Chestnut.

Culpepper is a lawyer and registered patent attorney with expertise in technology and intellectual property. He brings to MailChimp 19 years of experience advising technology clients, from startups to Fortune 100 companies.

Before joining MailChimp, Culpepper was a partner at Robins Kaplan, and previously, a partner at Thomas, Kayden, Horstemeyer & Risley. In addition to his law degree from Vanderbilt Law School, he has a degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
