InGenesis Moves into New San Antonio Headquarters Bringing 150 Jobs

One of the largest workforce solution enterprises in North America keeps pace after 4-alarm fire

SAN ANTONIO--()--InGenesis, one of the largest workforce solution enterprises in North America, is moving its expanded headquarters to San Antonio, ten months after a fire forced the company to relocate its operation to a temporary facility. More than 150 jobs, which support approximately 2800 employees nationwide, are projected to be a part of the move. “This move is the culmination of the kind of goodwill and community leadership that supports strong economic development in San Antonio,” said InGenesis founder and CEO Veronica Muzquiz Edwards. “We are deeply grateful to the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) for coming to our rescue and allowing our operations to not skip a single beat.”

On December 31, 2014, during working hours, a fire originated on the downstairs level of the professional building where InGenesis was located. Significant smoke damage to the company’s offices prompted an immediate relocation. Edwards says it took just minutes for UIW to put plans in motion to make room for her staff on its campus. “Our clients and our employees never knew we changed locations and I am proud that we didn’t miss a payroll, our systems remained secure, and none of our data was compromised.” Edwards credits the smooth transition with a disaster plan validated just two weeks prior, when InGenesis earned its Joint Commission Gold Seal Staffing Certification.

The relocation effort comes as InGenesis celebrates several 2015 milestones with Staffing Industry Analysts: one of the largest Staffing Firms in North America; one of the Largest Healthcare Staffing Firms in North America; and, the largest diversity supplier of healthcare personnel in the nation.

This year the company, founded in 1998, joined an exclusive tier of corporations and achieved an eight-year honor roll designation on Inc. magazine’s 500/5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

The move is important to InGenesis’ plans for expansion. The new facility, a fully renovated space near the San Antonio airport, doubles InGenesis’ operational capacity to accommodate the company’s continuing business growth. “Given our growth trajectory, InGenesis will begin assessing a new location for an extended campus facility within the next three years,” said Edwards.

InGenesis’ new offices are located at 10231 Kotzebue Street, San Antonio 78217.
