FLORENCE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Wholesale Book Company (AWBC) has gained exclusive rights to distribute Fried Pie Comics, a new comic brand that will feature variant covers of popular comics designed and drawn by industry-renowned artists. Headlining the first release on October 7 is a variant cover of the Amazing Spider-Man #1 by David Mack, as well as a variant by Alex Maleev for Invincible Iron Man #1.
The initial release will also feature variant covers for Heroes: Vengeance #1, Doctor Strange #1, and Jughead #1. Fried Pie Comics already has over ten variant comics planned for the next month.
