DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ping Identity®, the leader of Identity Defined Security, today announced two executive hires to meet the increased global demand of its Identity Defined Security platform. The new hires include Angela Han, vice president of global customer success, and Fawad Zakariya, vice president of business development. Han and Zakariya bring extensive experience from large global enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers to Ping Identity, where they will lead teams in expanding customer and partner relationships across key markets.
“With workers increasingly using mobile devices and cloud applications for work, more enterprises are embracing strategies to move beyond firewall-based security, and need to make it possible for employees to operate securely within a borderless world,” said Andre Durand, founder and CEO, Ping Identity. “During this high-growth period for Ping, Angela and Fawad will have critical roles in maintaining our customer-first approach while extending the reach of Identity Defined Security to the broader ecosystem of customers and partners, which ensures that only trusted employees, partners and customers can seamlessly access the right applications using any trusted device.”
Han will focus on driving strong adoption of the company’s Identity Defined Security solutions among its growing customer base by continuing to provide an excellent customer experience as the platform evolves. Han brings 12 years of experience managing and building customer success organizations. She most recently served as vice president of client development at leading SaaS provider Concur.
Zakariya will be responsible for strategically driving revenue growth with partners and strengthening alliances with Ping Identity’s partner ecosystem, including Box, Google, Microsoft and Workday. A seasoned SaaS sales, marketing and business development executive, Zakariya has a successful track record of driving revenue growth at both early-stage startups and established enterprise SaaS companies. As co-founder and CEO of TalentCove, Zakariya led product direction, demand generation, sales growth, financing and recruitment initiatives. Previously, he served as vice president of global channel sales and business development at SAP, where he drove partnership development and revenue across SAP’s product portfolio.
These appointments come on the heels of strong business and customer growth for the company, which protects more than one billion identities worldwide. Over the past two years, Ping Identity has added 500 new customers, and now serves more than 1,500 enterprises globally, including more than half of the Fortune 100.
