IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Martian Watches™, a California-based developer of award-winning analog smartwatches that sport classic watch designs, today announced the upcoming exclusive worldwide launch of its new Martian Active Collection of voice command smartwatches at Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide, starting with their 59th and Lexington flagship store on September 12, 2015. Bloomingdale’s will launch three men’s designs in the new Martian Active Collection, each featuring smart functionality to simplify users’ lives and keep them “in the moment” with friends, family and colleagues by subtly informing them of things they need to know.
Martian tastefully embeds some of the industry’s most advanced smart features into always-on analog designs with classic styling, sweep-second hands and separate two-year batteries. But that’s where tradition ends, as Martian’s directional speaker and noise-canceling microphone allow wearers to access their smartphone’s voice command functions and receive spoken responses – a feature not found on most smartwatches.
