Resilient Systems Partners with NTT Com Security, Bringing Leading Incident Response Platform to DACH Region

Two Companies Will Empower DACH Organisations to Thrive in the Face of Cyberattacks

LONDON--()--Resilient Systems, the leading Incident Response Platform (IRP) provider, announced a new partnership with NTT Com Security in the DACH region. With Resilient’s industry-leading, award-winning IRP, NTT Com Security will enable customers to manage and mitigate security incidents, faster and more effectively. Additionally, recently published research by Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC), co-sponsored by Resilient Systems, highlights the growing demand for solutions to help European organisations improve the way they respond to security incidents.

“After years of focus on threat prevention and detection, NTT Com Security recognises an increasing market demand in incidence response solutions. Resilient Systems offers a very unique product to support our services and consulting capabilities in this space. Together we can offer a complete solution that implements an effective incident response process within DACH enterprises and larger organisations,” said Dr. Matthias Rosche, Director Solutions & Strategic Accounts, NTT Com Security.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner NTT Com Security, a top-tier player in providing the best security technology to their DACH customers,” said Paul Ayers, General Manager EMEA at Resilient Systems. “By partnering with NTT Com Security, we will provide their customers with a proven, innovative software solution that empowers them to thrive against increasingly aggressive cyber threats in an orchestrated and proven way.”

The PAC study underscores a critical need for German organisations to proactively prepare for rapidly increasing cybersecurity threats:

  • Sixty-two percent of German respondents had a cybersecurity breach in the last year, where 32 percent were classified as “highly severe with a genuine business impact or a major internal disruption.”
  • Unfortunately, only 31 percent of these German respondents described themselves as “very ready to deal with cyber security incidents.”
  • Twenty-three percent of data breaches in Germany were discovered by the company itself, with 57 percent being alerted by a contracted monitoring service. In 20 percent of cases, the company was only made aware of the breach by an external third party.

“These findings show that you cannot guarantee that the discovery of a breach will be early enough to avoid serious reputational damage,” said Ayers. “As a result, we’re seeing growing demand for solutions that help companies optimise their response, and enable them to mitigate the impact of security breaches.”

The research also showed that German organisations are planning to better react to potential attacks, enabling them comply with the recent legislation on cyber protection of critical infrastructure, passed by the upper house of German parliament in July. Of those surveyed, a total of 72 percent of German companies are concerned about the impact that mandatory breach reporting will have; 40 percent being “very” concerned and 32 percent “somewhat” concerned.

“Legislation like this generates many questions from our customers as they try to find a way to ensure that they are fully equipped to address all the legal requirements. With breach notification being a fundamental aspect of incident response, this is becoming increasingly important for our customers,” said Dr. Rosche.
