PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today reported that Lake County, Illinois, has signed a five-year SaaS (software as a service) agreement for its iasWorld® appraisal and tax administration system and EnerGov™ planning, regulatory and maintenance platform. The multi-year, $8.5 million contract includes hosting services, related professional services, maintenance and support.
Lake County conducted a competitive request for proposal process, including consulting with client reference sites, for an integrated property tax administration and computer-assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) solution. Additionally, the county sought to integrate permitting and inspection functionalities, improve query and reporting capabilities, and provide an advanced e-government experience for the county’s constituents.
Lake County selected Tyler for multiple reasons, including the company’s financial stability, product functionality such as integrated workflow processes in iasWorld and EnerGov, the company’s dedication and ability to implement projects on time and on budget, and the expertise of its staff. Tyler’s iasWorld solution will automate many manual processes for Lake County while providing e-services for residents and mobile access for staff. EnerGov was selected to improve and integrate permitting and inspection functionality, and to provide online permitting access and real-time project status updates to the county’s clients.
“Progressive counties like Lake County select Tyler Technologies because we have the experience to help them meet current and future business goals,” said Andrew D. Teed, president of Tyler’s Appraisal & Tax Division. “The breadth of Tyler’s product portfolio enables us to provide a tightly integrated, multi-solution approach that supports Lake County’s growth strategies and sets a solid foundation for the county to realize significant long-term value. We look forward to helping the county provide excellent customer service by creating greater access to information for employees and residents.”
