SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Secure Communication Systems, Inc. announces the new hire of Colonel Craig M. Ravenell, USA, Ret. as Director of Business Development. Ravenell is a Retired Army Acquisition Officer with more than 23 years of experience leading soldiers in challenging military operations and managing complex defense acquisition programs. Ravenell has intensive acquisition experience with chemical and biological defense equipment, ballistic missile defense systems, modeling, simulation and training technologies in various stages of product life cycle.
In his new position, Ravenell will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic relationships with the Department of Defense (DOD) and partners as well as commercial markets. The specific projects Craig will be heading up includes: Live Fire Audio/Video Training Tools for the Cannon Artillery Weapon Systems and Un-Stabilized Gunnery, and Degraded Visual Environments (DVE) Programs for Rotary Wing customers. Ravenell will work out of the Orlando, FL office with other team members from the Tactical Micro, Inc., a division of Secure Communication Systems, Inc.

Ravenell has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Voorhees College in Denmark, SC and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
