ARLINGTON, Va.--()--ThreatConnect, Inc., creator of the most widely adopted and comprehensive Threat Intelligence Platform, today announced immediate availability of a free version of its public cloud edition specifically for Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) and Information Sharing and Analysis Organizations (ISAOs). ISACs and ISAOs will easily share information to its membership with these community capabilities, among others:

  • Private Member Collaboration
  • Anonymous Member Information Sharing
  • Member API Access to Community Intelligence to Develop Automated Actions
  • Multi-Source Data Aggregation
  • Free Basic Organization Accounts for All of ISAC or ISAO members

“It’s my experience that organizations all want to share and collaborate within their communities of interest but hesitate for two reasons: extra workload required to share and knowing with certainty that they can keep what they share secure,” said Christy Coffey, Director of Communities for ThreatConnect. “ISACs and ISAOs provide a central place to share, but a Threat Intelligence Platform can address their pain points around sharing. We see a chance to get more member participation with our platform.”

This news comes on the heels of ThreatConnect’s STIX integration announcement. Using a fully integrated TAXII (Trusted Automated eXchange of Indicator Information) client, all ThreatConnect® customers may now collect and send STIX formatted threat intelligence with their own public, private, or on-premises instance to collaborate with ISACs, ISAOs, or any other entity also using STIX and TAXII. With established integrations through ThreatConnect’s API, members of partnered ISACs can seamlessly transform STIX data into actionable intelligence and indicators available for immediate deployment.

“We founded ThreatConnect on the idea that we are stronger when we mount a common defense and that’s why we have a free version of our product for all security analysts to access our open and trusted communities,” said Adam Vincent, CEO for ThreatConnect. “Now, with this free ISAC/ISAO edition of ThreatConnect as well as the STIX integration, we are going to help even more enterprises not just share threat information but take action on it through enterprise integrations with SIEMs, network monitoring, and endpoint detection products.”

With ThreatConnect, government agencies and large enterprises aggregate all available threat data, analyze it rapidly, automate action, and then produce operational, tactical and strategic threat intelligence all in one place. Using ThreatConnect, security analysts can simultaneously work with incident response, security operations and risk management teams plus their trusted communities to defend themselves from modern cyber threats as well as address strategic business needs including risk mitigation.

ThreatConnect is attending and exhibiting at the FS-ISAC Spring Summit in Miami, Florida May 17 - 20 held at Loews Miami Beach. The team will be available to discuss how the enterprise, ISAC or ISAO can take advantage of its free account.
