SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTGR) (www.netgear.com), a global networking company that delivers innovative products to consumers, businesses and service providers, announced today that AT&T will bring the NETGEAR AirCard® 779S Mobile Hotspot to market under the brand name AT&T Unite Express™ for GoPhone. With its slim and sleek profile, this newest addition to the NETGEAR product line of mobile hotspots provides prepaid Internet access on the go using AT&T’s 4G LTE network (www.att.com/netgearmobilewifi). You can enjoy secure, reliable, affordable WiFi when you need it, on your terms, with three flexible rate plans and no annual contract or credit check.
Similar in size to a deck of cards, the AT&T Unite Express fits snugly into a pocket, a purse or a backpack. It’s your must-have travel accessory for sharing Internet access with up to 10 WiFi-enabled devices. With password protection and guest WiFi, this accessory offers you safe, hassle-free access on AT&T’s network, which has the nation’s strongest 4G LTE signal*, so you don’t have to rely on public WiFi to stay connected. You’ll be able to entertain your kids, do homework, and catch up on bills and office email while on road trips or between appointments. The AT&T Unite Express also offers an optional interface in Spanish, the first NETGEAR mobile hotspot from AT&T to do so.
“Our newest mobile hotspot is an easy-to-use device that our customers can simply turn on and connect, without adjusting settings,” said Judy Cavalieri, vice president, AT&T voice and prepaid products. “NETGEAR has designed our AT&T Unite Express with the intuitive setup and the outstanding experience that meets our high standards for quality. We’re also happy to offer our Spanish-speaking customers an optional Spanish language interface to make using the hotspot even easier.”
The AT&T Unite Express is ideal for people who want secure on-the-go access away from home, but don’t want the long-term commitment of an annual contract. Within minutes, parents, students, travelers, renters, telecommuters, and those with second homes can set up the AT&T Unite Express, add a prepaid data plan, connect to the built-in wireless access point, and get online. With an easy click, you can safely share your 4G LTE connection with up to 10 laptops, tablets, smartphones, digital cameras, gaming consoles, and other WiFi-enabled devices.

Accessories from NETGEAR for your AT&T Unite Express
NETGEAR 4G LTE Signal Boosting Cradle with Ethernet (DC113A): The optional, compatible Signal Boosting Cradle is a convenient place to dock your NETGEAR mobile hotspot for charging. The cradle has two built-in MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) antennas to boost your LTE signal for faster speeds** and for more flexible indoor placement options. If you happen to be in an area with a weak connection, you can boost your LTE signal to get high-speed wireless Internet access that goes the distance.
The Signal Boosting Cradle is also equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port that you can use for connecting wired devices that aren’t WiFi-enabled, such as a desktop computer, laptop, printer, media server, network attached storage (NAS), or any other Ethernet-enabled device. You can even use the Ethernet port to connect a WiFi home router to the cradle if you need the full-fledged capabilities and features of a higher performance router, but still want Internet access through your hotspot’s mobile broadband connection. It can also serve as a failover connection for emergencies. The NETGEAR 4G LTE Signal Boosting Cradle with Ethernet is available at an MSRP of $69.99.
