MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HyTrust Inc., the Cloud Security Automation Company, today announced that Rudolfo (Rudy) Cifolelli has joined the company as senior vice president of sales. In this critical position, Mr. Cifolelli will have primary responsibility for leading the Sales, Sales Engineering and Professional Services teams at HyTrust and will help drive the company’s pursuit of emerging opportunities and aggressive expansion into new markets.

Mr. Cifolelli has a long and distinguished track record in generating new revenue streams for innovative companies. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales at Prolexic, the leading distributed denial of service (DDoS) mitigation service provider, before its acquisition by Akamai Technologies for $370M. He led the worldwide sales team to help grow the company at an amazing 64% CAGR over 28 months.
Before joining Prolexic he was President, North America, at security provider SafeBoot prior to its acquisition by McAfee Inc. for $350M. He led the North American sales team to grow sales at a whopping 111% CAGR over 30 months.
