With 18 years of product management leadership and success as a serial technology entrepreneur, Arone will lead consumer product development for the popular website whitepages.com which has over 50 million unique monthly users and provides access to more than 200 million personal identities. Arone’s leadership will redefine Whitepages’ product development model by incorporating strong consumer insight and an understanding of the ever-changing digital world.

Prior to joining Whitepages, Arone was the Senior Vice President of Product Innovation and Chief Scientist at Experian (EXPN) where he was responsible for identifying and developing new products globally. He also served as part of the Consumer Services Global Strategic Development Team, where he tested and designed emerging new products and technologies. Geoffrey founded three startups, raising $5M to $28M in venture capital funding for each. His first start-up was Flock, an innovative social web browser which was later sold to Zynga. Together with partners such as MC Hammer, he co-founded Dancejam, a video competition platform for user-generated content and sold this company to Grind Networks. After serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Battery Ventures, he founded SafetyWeb, where he was CEO and Founder. SafetyWeb, a web-based internet monitoring service for parents to keep track of their child’s reputation, privacy and safety online, was acquired by Experian in May 2011. Geoffrey began his career as a Product Manager at Oracle and later Real Networks.
Arone has a B.S. in Neural Science from Brown University and an MBA from MIT. He holds three patents- two in structured metadata architecture and one in identity data management.
