SHI Promotes Craig Calle to Help Spearhead New Growth Opportunities

Calle’s extensive financial background and proven leadership will help SHI forge stronger partnerships and increase efficiencies among sales support teams to better support customers

SOMERSET, N.J.--()--SHI International Corp., one of North America's top 15 largest IT solutions providers, today announced that Craig Calle, Chief Strategy Officer, has taken on additional responsibility as Head of Partner Management and Technology Asset Optimization (TAO). In this new role, he’ll more closely support the growth and objectives of SHI's sales segments and technology partners by overseeing partner management, sales support, and services delivery.

In addition to his duties driving SHI’s growth and transformation as Chief Strategy Officer, Calle will assume day-to-day leadership of SHI's software licensing, hardware, enterprise solutions, professional services, and IT asset management (ITAM) teams. Calle will promote efficiency and collaboration in pre-sales support and professional services delivery. In addition, he will enhance the company’s ITAM service offerings to create a broader platform it calls Technology Asset Optimization (TAO), a consulting business that helps companies strengthen the internal controls over, and improve the ROI on, their technology assets.

“As the new year begins, we’re developing better ways to support our customers and partners in several crucial areas of technology solutions and services,” said Thai Lee, President and CEO of SHI International Corp. “Craig’s extensive financial experience adds new perspective on the importance of TAO, and his proven leadership experience will allow us to position resources to help sales teams, partners, and customers realize their fullest potential in their partnership with SHI.”

Calle joined SHI as Chief Strategy Officer in March 2014. Prior to joining SHI, he served as CFO at two PE-backed growth companies, CFO for Amazon's Digital Media (including Kindle) and Books segments, divisional CFO and Treasurer at Gateway, and Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Crown Cork & Seal. He began his career as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers, where he was a Vice President. He holds BA and BS Econ degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard University.
