The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Selects Ingenious Med as Patient Encounter Platform

Partnership provides enhancements to charge capture and revenue cycle management

ATLANTA--()--Ingenious Med, provider of the nation’s premier patient encounter platform, today announced that it has signed an agreement with the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio part of the Texas-based CHRISTUS Health System. The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio implemented Ingenious Med’s application after the Atlanta vendor signed an agreement with the hospital’s parent organization, CHRISTUS Health. Ingenious Med’s partnership creates needed charge capture and revenue cycle improvements for the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

"As a hospitalist, learning that Ingenious Med’s application was developed by other hospitalists was a huge win in my book,” said Dr. Vanessa Hill, chief medical information officer at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and associate professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. “What stood out even more; however, was that Ingenious Med was forward-thinking when it came to developing the application to accommodate additional specialties.”

Hill also spoke to the benefits cloud-based and mobile platforms have for physician users.

“The last thing a physician wants is for their charge capture application to be cumbersome, but, with Ingenious Med’s responsiveness to our needs, the entire experience has been fantastic,” Hill said.

“The Children’s Hospital’s deep dedication to quality complements our own,” said S. Hart Williford, president and CEO of Ingenious Med. “This is the beginning of a strong partnership and Ingenious Med is committed to providing the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio the necessary bandwidth and support to continue its tradition of excellence in patient care.”
