LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The TCW Group, a global asset management firm, today announced that Yuri Khalif has joined the firm as a Managing Director, focusing on marketing and client relations for registered investment advisors (RIAs), family offices and endowments & foundations in the Northeast. He is based in New York and reports to Alex McCulloch, Managing Director and Head of Retail Distribution and Marketing.

Prior to joining TCW, Khalif was a partner and executive director at Hatteras Funds. In this role, he focused on business development for the firm’s liquid alternative products, as well as client relations with RIAs and investment consultants. Before Hatteras Funds, Khalif served as an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s institutional advisor business. He has also held senior sales and marketing roles at Deutsche Asset Management, Miller Anderson & Sherrerd, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, and SEI Corporation. Khalif earned his MBA in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in financial and international business from Temple University.
