Insurance Regulation, Florida Lobbyist “Workhorse” Lawyers Promoted to Partners As Colodny Fass Law Firm Updates Name

FORT LAUDERDALE & TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--()--In conjunction with the streamlining of its name as of October 31, 2014, the law and governmental consulting firm of Colodny Fass has promoted three of its top Associates to Partners.

Lawyers Sandy P. Fay and Megan M. Grant focus on insurance regulation for Colodny Fass’ nationally known Insurance Regulatory Division. Attorney Trevor B. Mask handles legislative affairs for the Firm’s top-rated Florida Lobbying and Governmental Consulting practice.

“These three workhorse lawyers have quietly and effectively established themselves as the functional backbone of their respective practice areas,” Managing Shareholder Mike Colodny noted.

The new partners’ increased responsibility comes as Colodny Fass marks 40 years of history. All work closely with Shareholder Wes Strickland, who heads Firm’s Insurance Regulatory Practice and Katie Webb, Governmental Consulting Managing Shareholder. Both are based in Tallahassee. Managing Litigation Shareholder Maria Elena Abate leads the Firm's Insurance Litigation, Appellate Practice and Employment Law divisions.

“Sandy and Megan have become trusted counsel for our insurance clients, who have counted on their 50-state regulatory expertise for years,” Mr. Colodny added. “Trevor’s staunch dependability and commitment to his relationships with Florida’s top policymakers has served to deliver consistent legislative victories for all types of corporations and associations. Importantly, from a client perspective, they have worked seamlessly together for years to deliver superior, cost-effective results.”
