SARATOGA, Calif. & UNTERFOHRING, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Roku Inc. and Sky Deutschland today announced that the companies have entered into a strategic agreement using the Roku® streaming platform for the development of the Sky Online TV Box. Announced today, Sky Online is a brand-new, easy and flexible, stand-alone online TV service to experience the great content from Sky that is available to consumers without a traditional Sky subscription. It will be available in the coming months through the Sky Online TV Box, which will also have access to the online video library Snap. Sky Deutschland is the second international pay TV provider to partner with Roku under the Roku Powered™ program.
