BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Biopharmaceutical manufacturers can maximize their working volumes in bioreactors without compromising performance or yields, thanks to new cell culture feeding supplements that deliver nutrient concentrations up to three times greater than traditional feeds.
The Gibco EfficientFeed A+, B+ and C+ supplements provide a unique nutrient delivery technology to super-concentrate feeding supplements for optimal cell culture manufacturing. In addition to the benefits of advanced solubility, Gibco EfficientFeed A+, B+ and C+ Supplements also provide simple single-part Advanced Granulation Technology™ (AGT) dry media format reconstitution (just add water) to reduce risk of manufacturing mistakes during preparation. Once reconstituted, the feeds can be stored at room temperature without having to transport the feed back to the cold room between feeding times for up to 30 days. The ability to keep the feed in the bioreactor suite allows for just one closed-system connection to the bioreactor, further reducing manufacturing risks.
