Books-A-Million Simplifies the Shopping Experience with the Power of Curation

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--()--In the coming weeks, Books-A-Million, Inc. (NASDAQ:BAMM) will be rolling out ‘The Write Stuff’ program online and in stores nationwide. This program brings the years and years of expertise its book buyers have to customers directly and easily: what Books-A-Million’s book buyers truly love, and find worthy of calling out, will be marked with ‘The Write Stuff’ logo on the website and within the shelves of its stores.

“The Write Stuff’ is about giving our customers access to the best of the best,” says Margaret Terwey, Senior Fiction Book Buyer. “Books-A-Million buyers have decades of experience, and by hand-selecting and curating products, we are able to give our customers new discoveries and experiences each time they visit the store or go online.”

The program will place an emphasis on the personalized nature of ‘The Write Stuff’ spaces in stores and online, in that book buyers, themselves, drive the recommendations. These spaces will offer easy access to the most substantial items chosen by book buyers, with each space marked by ‘The Write Stuff’ logo. It’s a means for customers to shop with the comfort, and excitement, of personal curation.

“With school right around the corner for many of our customers, ‘The Write Stuff’ selections are perfect for re-engaging kids and teens with reading,” says Sandra Wilson Senior Kids’ and Teen Book Buyer. “And, so they don’t get tired, we will continually update and add items to our collection.”

This singular, branded recommendation program will be supported by robust signage throughout the store and will be integrated online via storefront pages. The rallying cry for this program is as straightforward and simple as the program itself: “Look for the logo online and in-store. Discover our favorite stuff.”

Books-A-Million is proud to introduce ‘The Write Stuff.’
