CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Ballard Insurance Agency (Ballard), a Melbourne, Florida-based insurance brokerage. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Ballard will become part of the Hub International Florida operations (Hub Florida). The acquisition will enable Ballard to deliver a full-service commercial line solution and broaden its expertise in personal lines insurance.
Hub Florida will relocate its Melbourne office to Ballard’s existing Melbourne location. The Melbourne office will report into Latimer Farr, President of Hub Florida’s current locations, and roll into the larger Hub Southeast operations under CEO Mike Chapman.
