SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clinkle Corporation, a startup working to modernize how people transact, today announced the appointment of two senior executives with deep and varied business experience, including key operating roles at a number of today’s leading Internet companies. Andrew Rendich was named vice president of operations and Allison Hopkins was named vice president of talent.
Rendich and Hopkins join Clinkle as it ramps up its organizational capabilities ahead of the planned roll out of the company’s flagship product next year. The duo arrives at Clinkle following the recent appointment of another veteran executive, Barry McCarthy, as Clinkle’s chief operating officer, further delivering on the company’s commitment to building a deep and talented management team.

Rendich joins the company from Walmart.com, where he served as senior vice president of supply chain and logistics, and brings more than 20 years of experience in software and operations to his new role. At Clinkle, he will be responsible for IT infrastructure support, data warehouse operations, and customer service operations. Prior to Walmart.com, Rendich spent 13 years at Netflix, ascending to the position of chief service and operations officer from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, Rendich was appointed to lead a DVD-by-mail offshoot service that Netflix announced but did not launch. At Netflix, he also served as vice president of operations and vice president of systems development. Rendich is currently a board member at online startup thredUP.
Hopkins will be responsible for leading Clinkle’s talent acquisition and organizational development strategies. She brings more than 25 years of human resources experience to Clinkle and most recently served as the senior vice president of human resources at Palo Alto Networks. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Hopkins spent six years as vice president of human resources for Netflix, where she helped grow the employee base from 250 to 4,000 employees. She also held senior-level human resources positions at Hewlett-Packard and E*Trade. Previously, she was founder and CEO of Core Elements, Inc., which provided HR and internal communication consulting to global technology companies.
