Visionworks Announces Completion of Nationwide Rebranding

Two-year rebranding process culminates with renaming, remodeling of two retail brands in New York

SAN ANTONIO--()--After over two years of successfully implementing a comprehensive rebranding strategy, including renaming and store remodels across the country, Visionworks, the largest wholly owned, U.S.-based optical retailer, today announced that, as of November 24, all its 615 stores are now operating under the Visionworks banner. Visionworks, formerly known as Eye Care Centers of America, operated under 16 different retail store names until it launched its nationwide rebranding initiative in June of 2011.

We've enhanced the shopping experience for our customers by listening to what they told us they wanted, from an easy to navigate layout, to better lighting, and additional mirrors. Throughout the renaming and remodeling of regional and local retail brands, Visionworks has retained the same great service, sales associates and trusted doctors that customers have come to expect at their eye care centers. In addition, the stores continue to accept all the same vision insurance plans as before the rebranding, including Davis Vision.
