LODZ, Poland & IZMIR, Turkey--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patton Electronics—manufacturer of the award-winning SmartNode™ VoIP and CopperLink™ Ethernet Extender product lines—is expanding operations in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) by establishing new offices in Poland and Turkey.
The local offices will support demand for Patton’s high-technology communications equipment in two of the region’s most vibrant economies by providing on-the-ground sales, marketing and customer support in the Polish and Turkish languages.
Since incorporating in Maryland, USA in 1984, Patton has steadily expanded global operations year upon year. In September 2011, Patton opened the subsidiary Patton Hungary Zrt, headquartered in Budapest. Hungary operations now comprise Patton’s previously-established Croatia office as well as the newly launched Poland and Turkey businesses.
Serving as a gateway to the region, Patton’s CEE operation provides technical training along with regional sales and customer support in several of the region’s local languages. For Patton customers and partners in the region, the Budapest facility enables expedited delivery of highly-demanded Patton products to all CEE locations with shorter lead times and lower freight costs.
