Participant Media’s Pivot Joins with Monster to Encourage Vibrant Millennial Career Conversations on the Search to ‘Find Better®’

Multi-Platform Initiative Anchored by Pivot-Produced Original Documentary about Job Searching in America, Prominent Inclusion In Network's Late-Night Topical Series ‘TakePart Live’ and Significant Online Content on Pivot.tv and TakePart.com

NEW YORK--()--Pivot (www.pivot.tv), Participant Media's new network targeting Millennials (18-34), today announced an innovative relationship with Monster Worldwide (NYSE: MWW), the worldwide leader in successfully connecting people to job opportunities, to drive a meaningful dialogue about the path to employment in America. The multi-platform initiative, which speaks directly to the network’s commitment to create content that inspires change, will provide this next greatest generation with the knowledge and tools necessary to “Find Better®”, in their careers and lives, especially in a challenging economy.

The sponsorship agreement, which will roll out beginning September 16th, will integrate content on-air, online and across social media to bridge the perceived gap between Millennials and potential employers with a series of Monster.com branded components. Highlights of the initiative include a Pivot-produced original documentary that explores the journey of finding your way in the world of work through the eyes and personal stories of real-life job seekers across the country. Digging deep into the lives of relatable Millennials going through what can be one of life’s most daunting undertakings, the special will highlight the highs and lows of each person's unique experience and how proper preparation and leveraging the most advanced tools available today can provide the greatest payoff for their careers and, more importantly, the rest of their lives.

Beginning today, Pivot will also air Monster.com branded segments for its late night topical show, TakePart Live. A series of nine in-studio “Find Better” segments will be integrated into TakePart Live from September through December, featuring career coaches, seasoned executives, and job seekers. The in show series and the accompanying digital shorts will focus on tactics and strategies on how to find not just a job, but a fulfilling career. Topics include: How to Craft Your Personal Brand; How to Break the Negative Perception of Millennials in the Workplace; The Benefits of Working for a Company that Matches an Individual’s Moral Compass; How to Handle Rejection; How to Build your Own Business from Scratch or Create a Successful Freelance Career; How Women Can Have Impact in Fields Traditionally Considered a Man’s Domain; and What to Do After You Get the Job.

The “Find Better®” series on TakePart Live showcases motivational coach Josh Shipp whose prominent role in the campaign includes appearances in all the TakePart Live segments and puts him front and center in the series' other digital shorts to provide Millennials with tangible tips and takeaways, highlighting tools from Monster.com. The shorts will also be featured on TakePart.com, the online destination for socially relevant news and information at Takepart.com/findbetter.

Monster and Pivot are also collaborating on the next installment of Monster’s globally successful Cool Jobs program. Starting Oct 7th, TakePart Live will seek to hire an Associate Producer for the show with the only way to apply to be through Monster.com. Pivot and TakePartLive will air branded promotional spots to drive awareness and encourage viewers to go to monster.com/takepart to apply.

Ted Gilvar, CMO, Monster Worldwide, said: “Our unique approach with Pivot transcends any typical marketing campaign. This collaboration is the perfect way to use a seamlessly integrated strategy across broadcast, digital and social content to inspire Millennials to Find Better. Pivot is a great platform to marry our mission and our message as part of a real and engaging conversation.”

John Arianas, EVP, Advertising Sales & Partnerships, Pivot said: “The brand alignments between Monster and Pivot are obvious as our mission is about creating entertainment that is positive and inspiring -- what could be more appropriate than a campaign focused on ‘Finding Better’ jobs.
