LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The overjoyed winner of BingoPort's July Win a Car Competition has been presented with a cheque for £5,000 by BingoPort's co-founder among an excited gathering of friends and relatives.
Popular BingoPort member smudge2011, otherwise known as Maureen S from Rotherham in South Yorkshire, was thrilled to receive her prize and her beloved husband Tony even made it home from hospital to share in the celebrations.
Maureen was also joined by her friend Kizzy (Karen) who suggested Maureen join BingoPort a couple of years ago and is thrilled that her friendly referral has resulted in such good fortune for her close friend.
Maureen plans to use the money for house renovations and Christmas presents which she'll fit in alongside playing her much loved free bingo at BingoPort.
BingoPort members were in a frenzy when smudge2011 logged in during her special visit from BingoPort's co-founder, Scott Logan to share the news that the massive cheque had found it's way into her living room. Scott travelled from London to personally present the cheque to Maureen and was thrilled that he had the opportunity to meet BingoPort's biggest ever winner in person. "Maureen and her family were wonderful and it was a genuinely rewarding experience to see how much joy BingoPort has brought to them, not only through the £5,000 prize, but also as a source of regular household entertainment."
The £5,000 prize was chosen by Maureen as an alternative to the new car offered by BingoPort during their 2013 Summer Sale, which ran throughout July. Maureen's winning ticket was drawn from thousands of entries with tens of thousands of online bingo enthusiasts logging on to BingoPort during July.
