CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Americas’ SAP Users’ Group (ASUG), the world’s largest independent community of SAP professionals, is pleased to announce the keynote line-up featuring insights and expertise from ASUG CEO Bridgette Chambers, as well as SAP® executives Steve Lucas, Christian Rodatus and Adam Binnie for the 2013 ASUG SAP BusinessObjects User Conference Sept. 9-11 in Anaheim, Calif.
“SBOUC 2013 will showcase the tools and techniques that make it possible for businesses to harness data in revolutionary ways,” said ASUG CEO Bridgette Chambers. “The event will deliver education, entertainment and networking opportunities for ASUG members to learn from the experts, test drive SAP solutions, and influence future innovations to benefit their organizations.”
Chambers will open the keynote event at 8 a.m. PT on Monday, Sept. 9, with a presentation titled, “ASUG Ahead: You Want to Be a Part of This,” to celebrate the remarkable success of the SAP BusinessObjects community and underscore a vision for the future of this thriving and influential voice in the SAP ecosystem. She will also share insights and results from the fourth annual ASUG Influencer Summit. Over the past three years, the Summit has evolved into a powerful planning and client feedback session. This year will mark an increased level of collaboration between SAP and the ASUG BusinessObjects community.
Immediately following Chambers’ presentation, Rodatus, Senior Vice President of SAP Global Analytics Solutions, and Binnie, Global Vice President and General Manager of SAP Business Intelligence Solutions, will co-present “The Rise of Dark Data – A Journey to the Network of Truth.” They will discuss how to turn unused, or dormant, data hidden throughout the enterprise into a valuable network of insights to benefit the business. They say succeeding in an era of big data requires an information system where both IT and end users contribute to the data assets, helping to create a network of real-time information and insights needed by stakeholders within and outside the organization, and spanning Business Intelligence, agile visualization and predictive insights.
At 8 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Sept. 10, Lucas, President, SAP Platform Solutions, will present “Journey to the Connected Enterprise.” He will address the challenge of building a connected enterprise at a time when consumers expect instant access to meaningful data at any time, anywhere, while data is doubling every 18 months and more than 15 billion web-enabled devices are in use. Discussion, demonstrations and customer examples will explain how connecting all levels of a business (from strategy to operations to manufacturing), with real-time decision-making, predictive insight and adaptive response can revolutionize businesses and enrich customer experiences.
