Fitch Publishes 2013 Comparative Statistics Report

MONTERREY, Mexico--()--Fitch Ratings publishes its '2013 Comparative Statistics' special report for Mexican corporate issuers publicly rated in the Mexican National Scale, covering leverage capital structures, liquidity analysis and other key financial and credit rating metrics.

This report represents Fitch's ongoing effort to provide investors with tools and detailed information on Mexican corporate issuers that will enable insightful credit judgments in a region with diverse risks.

Fitch's corporate ratings make use of both qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess business and financial risks of fixed-income issuers and of their individual debt issues. Fitch's qualitative analysis explores issuers' operating environment to account for systemic risk. At times, these risks coupled with sovereign risk and Fitch's country ceiling, might compress an issuer's credit quality despite having a conservative financial profile. The national scale ratings of Mexico with suffix (mex), reflect an indication of creditworthiness relative to the best credit quality of the country.
