PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--INTTRA, the world’s largest multi-carrier e-commerce network for ocean shipping, today announced it is hosting the industry’s first Ocean Shipping CIO Leadership Council, taking place June 3-4, 2013 in Paris, France. “The formation of the CIO Leadership Council is crucial to building a technology roadmap to address the industry’s most pressing challenges,” said Ken Bloom, CEO of INTTRA. “We recognize that, as a group we need to develop technology solutions for real business issues that will enable the industry to deliver services to the shipping community that deliver greater value. Through collaboration with the top carriers and shippers, we’ll be able to achieve more impactful improvements than any individual provider can achieve themselves to continue to move the maritime industry forward.”
