SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barney & Barney, LLC, one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokerages, today announced that Daniel Huckemeyer, an insurance executive with more than 25 years of experience, has been named Director of Program Underwriting and Administration.
Huckemeyer brings extensive knowledge and experience to B&B Programs, a division of Barney & Barney, LLC. Huckemeyer will work with a team of program administration professionals to underwrite and deliver specialty insurance solutions to targeted industries.

Prior to joining Barney & Barney, Huckemeyer was a Risk Management Casualty Underwriting Officer at Crum & Forster in Los Angeles. Before that, he was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Zenith Insurance Company in Woodland Hills. Earlier in his career, he was Regional Vice President of Risk Management for the Argonaut Group in Chicago and began his career in insurance with Travelers. Huckemeyer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Arizona State University. He is based in the firm’s San Diego headquarters.
