FRANKFURT, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eleven companies from Hong Kong (2012: 27) will be present on two combined stands organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) at CeBIT in Hanover from 5 till 9 March, 2013. Innovations from the sectors of IT Infrastructure and Business Communications & Networks will be showcased in the halls 17 (G02) and 13 (C15).
In Hall 17 (G02) the range on display of the eight companies stretches from Cloud-based Digital Signage Systems and 3D technologies as being displayed by Marvel Digital Ltd. (G02-G18), through high-performance batteries for portable electronic devices from Cameron Sino Technology Limited (G02-G12) all the way to wireless IP cameras from Quadrant Components Inc. Limited (G02-G15).
Marvel Digital Ltd. offers autostereoscopic 3D and vision-related technologies for private users and industry, content management and digital conversion systems and services. The autostereoscopic 3D technology makes extras such as 3D glasses superfluous. 3D Pro Limited (G02-G10) specializes in touch systems for LED and LCD wall systems with large screen sizes. New is a technology using laser beams for multi-touch detection.
The companies Hakko Opto Limited (C15-C2), Hi-Tech Precision Industrial Limited (C15-C4) and RTX Hong Kong Limited (C15-C1) will be exhibiting in Hall 13 (C15). RTX Hong Kong Limited manufactures PBX, VoIP, SIP and DECT telephones, including Android touch phones as well as Dualphones for Skype which do not require connection to a PC.
Hong Kong’s electronics and information technology industries once again showed a gain in 2012. The export of electronics rose by 7 per cent to USD 254 billion. Main markets were China, the USA, Japan, Taiwan and Korea. In 2012, the import of electronic goods into Hong Kong amounted to USD 265 billion (+8.1 per cent).
The export of information technology rose by 12.5 per cent to USD 54.7 billion. Main markets were China, the USA, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia. Imports into Hong Kong in 2012 were up by 14.8 per cent (USD 52.5 billion).
The IT industry is increasingly focussing on technological enhancements such as wireless components and accessories. At the same time, the companies are offering more 3D applications in the computer sector such as new 3D monitors and 3D webcams, as well as products with interfaces for higher communication speeds and data rates.
