As a food and restaurant connoisseur, Savory Books’ editor-in-chief Jonathan Aspatore was always amazed he could not find cookbooks of his favorite local restaurants in the Bay area. Now, after founding, building, and selling one of the five largest business book publishing houses, he decided to take action and build a publishing house devoted to helping select top chefs, restaurant owners, and “local favorites” share their story, special talents, and food with the world.
