Starbucks to Offer Deal Through LivingSocial UK

LONDON--()--Starbucks Coffee Company UK is offering consumers a deal on 29 November with LivingSocial, the local marketplace for discovering the best things to do in your local area.

LivingSocial will offer a £10 Starbucks Card eGift for £5 on Thursday and Friday this week. Customers have three months to claim the card, which can be used in Starbucks outlets across the UK until 31 May 2013.

Peter Briffett, Managing Director of LivingSocial UK and Ireland, said: “This deal marks a first for LivingSocial, and is perfectly suited to the discerning tastes of our LivingSocial members. We are delighted to work with Starbucks and are always excited to offer great quality experiences to our highly engaged customer base.”

Ian Cranna, VP marketing and category at Starbucks UK said: “At Starbucks we are always looking for fresh and relevant ways to give our customers value at a time when they need and want it. We wanted to create a unique offer for our customers in the lead up to Christmas as a big ‘thank you’ and we’re really pleased to have found a partner in Living Social to help us do this. We teamed up with Living Social in the US earlier this year, where in a similar deal a record setting 1.5m vouchers were purchased. We hope to replicate this success here by offering 100,000 UK consumers the chance to benefit from this deal.”

The Starbucks Card eGift is powered by CashStar, the world’s leading digital gifting and incentives company.
