EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Awarded Restoration of Rocket Test Stand by NASA at John C. Stennis Space Center

NORWALK, Conn.--()--EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure, and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses announced that its subsidiary Harry Pepper & Associates has been awarded by NASA a Task Order under a previously awarded Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. The Task Order is for restoration of the B2 Rocket Test Stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi.

Harry Pepper & Associates (HPA) will be responsible for all repairs and alterations necessary to restore the original functionality of the B-2 Rocket Engine Test Stand. Scope of work includes demolishing one of the major levels/decks of the Test Stand, reconstructing it with stainless steel structural framing and deck plate, and restoring its various areas of fixed deck by replacing the carbon steel, galvanized grating, and structural steel. Additionally, scope of work includes demolishing and replacing structural steel of, and performing minor concrete repairs to the Test Stand, as well as refurbishing its Derrick Crane by lengthening the boom and replacing motors, cab controls, load monitoring system, and boom and ancillary equipment.
